• Single bedroom Room contains a single bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside cabinet, reading lamp, mirror, and a hairdryer.
• Shower room The twin room and single room share this facility which has a walk-in shower, toilet and wash-hand basin.
• Kitchen Containing a hob, microwave, slow cooker, fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, toaster, kettle, pots, pans, crockery and cutlery.
• Lounge Contains a 50" flat-screen TV, comfortable leather suite, 6 seat dining table and chairs.
• General Facilities The house benefits from WiFi and oil central heating. Both gardens are secure for pets and children. Free on-street parking is available outside the property.
• Dogs We are dog friendly but do have some terms and conditions for your stay. There is a warm water dog shower in the rear garden. In 2023, Failte Mhor won a SME Award for "Best Pet Friendly Accommodation - Highlands".
• Shed There are secure storage sheds available for guest use. Sheds are covered by 24/7 CCTV but anything left in them is at the guest's own risk and the owner accepts no liability in respect of items left unattended in the sheds.
• CCTV The property has outdoor CCTV covering the back and front gardens and entrances alongside video doorbells. The property is also listed with the ICO.

Fàilte Mhor appeals particularly to the outdoor enthusiast. Those interested in climbing, walking, sailing, kayaking, skiing, snowboarding and cycling have all enjoyed stays with us. See our reviews for yourself!

If you are not so sporty then why not try the Jacobite Express steam train (of Harry Potter fame), enjoy a loch cruise or just spend some time soaking up the stunning local scenery and eating in some of the many, wonderful local restaurants and bars.

Local facilities

The house is located a two minute walk away from a small supermarket shop which is open from 07:00 to 23:00. Additionally, there is a chip shop, chinese takeaway and two cafes, all within walking distance. The local dog friendly pub (also within walking distance) provides excellent, freshly prepared meals with generous portion sizes and is very reasonably priced.

Getting around

You will find the main bus route in and out of Fort William town centre a two minute walk away. It is a five minute walk from Banavie train station. A local taxi company operates from nearby the house and if you have your own car there is ample parking outside the property.
